SacSewer and Stop the Clog Win RHA Partner of the Year Award

Stellar Awards honors organizations for outstanding contributions to Sacramento rental housing industry

The Rental Housing Association (RHA) awarded SacSewer its Community Partner of the Year Award for SacSewer’s partnership with RHA on the Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) awareness program. SacSewer’s Jan Holm, Program Coordinator, accepted the award on behalf of SacSewer during RHA’s Stellar Awards event held at the Crest Theatre on March 13.

RHA’s Stellar Awards honors one or more individuals or organizations for their outstanding contributions to the Sacramento rental housing industry.

“I’m proud of the relationship SacSewer and RHA have developed,” said Jan Holm. “This award exemplifies that relationship and our mutual goal to provide the rental housing community with tools they need to educate and encourage their tenants to properly dispose of FOG. The more we can get the word out to all residents to ‘Can It! Scrape It! Trash It!,’ the greater likelihood we can prevent a sewer system back up or overflow.”

RHA is a non-profit organization serving rental owners and property managers in the Sacramento Valley region. Its members own or manage more than 80,000 rental units, from single-family homes to apartment communities.
