Claudia Goss

Public Affairs Manager

Claudia Goss has been with the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) and the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD) since 2001. She and her team of communication professionals provide external and internal communication services for both Districts. These services include print and Web-based communication materials for employees and external audiences; media relations; public outreach and education programs; public meeting facilitation; communication counsel and training; event management; strategic planning; project management; and contract management. They also provide a wide range of communications support for the Districts' sewer expansion, rehabilitation, and repair and maintenance projects, from design through construction. They also work on several projects for the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Goss earned a Bachelor's degree in Government/Journalism from California State University, Sacramento. She spent several years in local magazine work, involved in editing, writing and graphics. Goss later spent 14 years with the Southgate Recreation and Park District in various positions from Public Information Officer to General Manager.
