Christoph Dobson

Director of SASD Operations

Christoph Dobson began his public sector career working as a Civil Engineer for departments within Sacramento County. There, he gained quality and diverse experience by working on projects such as GIS-base mapping, interceptor sewer design, construction management of treatment plant expansion projects, and developer interface.

In 1997, following years of industry experience, Dobson joined the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD) and Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) as an Associate Civil Engineer for the Rehabilitation Engineering section. In 2006, he was named Director of Operations for the Sacramento Area Sewer District, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the District.

Dobson holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and is a registered professional engineer in the State of California. He also holds a Grade I Collection System Maintenance Certificate from the California Water Environment Association.
