Service Restoration Time
Measures the percentage of customers whose sewer service is restored within the on-time window with no sewer use limitation for the customer.
Target: 90%*
SASD staff will restore service within four hours of receipt of the customer call for 90% of all service interruptions occurring within any calendar month. The on-time window is extended to six hours when excavation of the lower lateral is needed.
In an effort to be more timely in our reporting, we have improved our service levels charts. We now include preliminary data for the most recent month which has not been through a final quality check. Once the preliminary data has been reviewed and double-checked, we update the chart. *The on-time window is six hours when excavation of lower lateral is required. The on-time window for all other services is four hours. Approved by the Board of Directors and effective on July 1, 2009.
