SASD & SRCSD Headquarters Building

Construction of the new SASD & SRCSD Headquarters Building began in August 2007, with completion and move-in date scheduled for fall 2009. On June 13, 2007, the Districts' Board of Directors approved the award of the construction contract to the lowest bidder, S.J. Amoroso Construction Co.

Once complete, the project, designed by architects Williams+Paddon, will feature a number of improvements. The corporation yard will include some covered parking, a vehicle wash station and materials storage bin, while the warehouse will have shops for SASD's Maintenance and Operations, Flow Monitoring and SRCSD Wastewater Source Control Section.

Additionally, as part of the Art in Public Places Program, the site will feature art by artist Gordon Huether. A suspended sculpture will be featured in the lobby, art tiles will be placed in the lobby floor and other areas and a glass sculpture will be displayed in the courtyard.
