Project Status & Timeline

Construction of the new SASD & SRCSD Headquarters Building began in August 2007, with completion and move-in date scheduled for fall 2009.

Community Outreach & Involvement

SASD and SRCSD are committed to an open public process, involving ongoing communication with residents, businesses, stakeholders, and the general public during design and construction of a project. In accordance with this, a community meeting was held in May 2005 to educate and gather input from surrounding residents, businesses and stakeholders. Based on that meeting - and a detailed technical and environmental analysis - a design was finalized and is now being constructed.

In order to ensure construction impacts are communicated effectively to the public, we will continue to inform the community through newsletters, flyers, traffic alerts and Web site updates, as appropriate.
