Construction Impacts & Updates
Construction on the new SASD/SRCSD Building & Corporation Yard began in August 2007 and is scheduled for completion and move-in by fall 2009.
Impacts associated with construction activities may include a slight increase in traffic along Goethe Road, minor delays due to traffic controls along Bradshaw Road for storm drain installation and Bradshaw/Goethe intersection improvements, and minimal construction noise and dust.
As construction impacts become available, we will continue to update the community through newsletters, flyers, traffic alerts and Web site updates.
UPDATE:The structural steel, concrete floors and walls have been completed, and now the contractor is prepared to start on the interior of the building. This will include the framing of the interior walls, drywall, installation of access flooring and windows. The contractor is also expected to have the Goethe Road-extension complete soon. The District is still on schedule for project completion in fall 2009. |
