In an effort to further communicate and educate the community and expand outreach services, SASD has created Twitter and Facebook pages for the project. Updates will be limited to traffic and construction related alerts, and will be made as necessary.

Community Outreach

Extensive communication with the community was established in 2008 leading up to the start of construction in September 2009. The District worked closely with local businesses and business organizations, schools, emergency agencies, local agencies and residential and community organizations to inform and educate them about the sewer rehabilitation project. Communication with local stakeholders and property owners will continue throughout construction to ensure proper and timely notification of all activities and potential impacts.
