Ordinance Revision Underway
Review & Adoption Process:
Staff will give all comments thorough consideration and will make changes as necessary.
Upon completion of the review process staff will begin the ordinance adoption process. The amended ordinance will be submitted to SASD's Board of Directors for an introduction hearing, followed by a comment period and ultimately adoption.
The adoption hearing date, time and location will be advertised in the Sacramento Bee and are tentatively scheduled for the summer of 2010.
Additional comment opportunities, including an opportunity to speak directly to our Board of Directors, will be made available during the formal adoption hearing.
SASD is in the process of updating the collection of individual SASD ordinances and will combine them all into a single "consolidated" ordinance to be called the SASD Sewer Ordinance. SASD is seeking feedback from users of the sewer system on the proposed changes. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed, and you can meet with us personally if you would like.
