New Design Standards and Specifications For Review

Historically the District has relied on the County Standards and Specifications to provide design and construction guidance for sewer assets that are to be maintained and operated by the District. These standards and specifications ensure the consistent design of sewer assets for use by, and protection of, the public. This change has been implemented to better serve all the jurisdictions within the District’s service area. The District has updated the Design Standards and completed the District Construction Specifications, Rehabilitation Standards and Specifications, and Standard Plans. These documents are scheduled to be presented to the Board of Directors for Approval on February 25, 2009.

These documents are now open for review and comment by external stakeholders. The review period is open until close of business day on Monday, February 18, 2009. Please send any comments to Melenie Davis at davisme@saccounty.net, 916-876-6284.
